
DUBAI-BASED hospitality chain, Gloria Hotels & Resorts has chalked out an aggressive expansion strategy in the Mena region with plans to introduce six new properties over the next two years.
The five-star Al Fayroz Al Massi Gloria Hotel Al Madina will open at Madinah in Saudi Arabia. The property consists of 307 deluxe rooms and suites and is due to open this month.
This will be followed by the Gloria Hotel Doha in Qatar. In November 2014, Gloria Sports City Hotel will open its doors in the Zayed Sports City, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
In Oman, the Gloria Ghala Hotel Muscat is being constructed and will be launched in June 2015.
In Egypt, Al Rehab Gloria Hotel, a five-star boutique hotel will open in New Cairo City in 2014 and Al Maadi Gloria Hotel on Al Maadi Corniche in Cairo will be inaugurated in 2014.
