Italy’s hospitality landscape is undergoing a significant transformation. Long celebrated for its heritage and craftsmanship, the country is now seeing unprecedented levels of international investment, brand entry and design-led development.
For us at Omnam Group, Italy has become one of our most prominent and compelling markets for development - and, over the years, one of the most interesting in Europe from an investment perspective.
The depth of cultural heritage, combined with growing global demand for experience-led travel, and the universal and consistent interest in Italy-based tourism, creates a unique environment for long-term, design & experience-driven projects. Our teams have spent the past decade working quietly behind the scenes to help shape a new chapter for Italy’s luxury hospitality sector.
Since founding Omnam, our focus has been on identifying iconic buildings and locations and reimagining them for contemporary travellers, while respecting their architectural and cultural legacy
Since founding Omnam, our focus has been on identifying iconic buildings and locations and reimagining them for contemporary travellers, while respecting their architectural and cultural legacy. Today, that vision is reflected in a growing pipeline of projects across Italy, including The Lake Como EDITION opening in March 2026. In the coming years, Baccarat Florence, the Rosewood Bauer Hotel in Venice, Four Seasons Puglia, Park Hyatt Taormina and several additional landmark projects will further expand this presence across the country.
The opening of The Lake Como EDITION marks an important milestone not only for Omnam Group, our partner Bain Capital and EDITION Hotels, but for the continued evolution of Italy’s luxury hotel scene.
It reflects a broader shift towards high-end, experience-driven hospitality and collaborative development models that bring together investment, design, technology and community.
As this new generation of projects comes to life, I believe Italy is entering one of the most dynamic periods in its modern hospitality history - and we feel blessed that we are able to play a role in shaping what comes next.
