Gulf Hotel apartments to open for F1

THE Bahrain Hotels Company, owner and operator of Gulf Hotel Bahrain, has announced the February 28 as the completion date of works at the new serviced apartments building within the hotel complex, to accommodate some of the Gulf Hotel’s guests during the Gulf Air Grand Prix in March 2006.

This building reinforces the current status of Gulf Hotel and Gulf International Convention & Exhibition Centre (GICEC) as the biggest hotel in Bahrain, adding to the existing inventory of 360 rooms, 11 restaurants and bars and 2,200 seat convention centre with an additional 2,500 sq.m. of exhibition space.
The 15-storey building houses 97 apartments of one, two or three bedrooms. Each of the five-star serviced apartments is fully equipped with luxury furnishings, kitchen area and hotel amenities and facilities. All residents of the serviced apartments will have full use of the hotel’s health club facilities and the stunning landscaped poolside.
Located in Manama, the Gulf Hotel is five minutes away from the heart of the city and 15 minutes away from the Bahrain International Airport. Each of the 366 rooms and suites are furnished to the highest standard and facilities on offer include on-call room service and housekeeping, complete concierge services, IDD telephones with voice mail, satellite television, wireless internet, personal vault, bath amenities and laundry service.
