FOOD TOURISMPeru, will serve as the setting for the second World Forum on Food Tourism, an event sponsored by the World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) and the Basque Culinary Centre (BCC) of Spain. An estimated 200 participants will attend the forum in April next year, including tourism and culinary experts, who will have the opportunity to enjoy this event surrounded by the vibrant culinary culture of Peru. Latin America’s largest food fair, Mistura Food Festival, concluded last month in Lima with a showcase of the best of Peruvian gastronomy. The ten-day festival brought together farmers, chefs, confectioners, food lovers and culinary experts from around the region.
