Located in Heliopolis, the Fairmont Towers in Cairo offers 247 guest rooms including 10 suites. It was built to reflect contemporary and art deco designs with an emphasis on Greek, Ancient Egyptian, and Asian cultures.
The atrium displaying metal pillars, wire truss holding the glass façade, fountains, palm trees, an artificial river, water passages, wooden pontoons and floral beds is a masterpiece in contemporary design.
In the center of the atrium, Café Heliopolis is available for guests to sample its selection of home made ice creams, juices and paninis. Serving contemporary Italian cuisine with French overtones is Aqua e Luce, said to be the first gourmet restaurant of its kind to open in Cairo. The outdoor Pizza Bar serves a variety of salads, pizzas and pastas. Fuze bar serves continental cuisine and high end snacks.
The hotel’s conferences and catering facilities include more than 4,500 sq m of banqueting space and themed coffee breaks, breakfast packages, lunch buffets and cocktail reception tidbits are designed for participants.
Comprising five floors, Fairmont Towers has 128 rooms overlooking the atrium and 119 rooms with a view of the pool and gardens. The three deluxe one bedroom suites, on the first three floors have bullet proof glass and a jacuzzi. The three executive suites on the other side of the same three floors have full wooden walling, a dining room, a pantry, a small makeup area, a walk-in closet and bullet proof glass. Combined, each executive suite with its opposing deluxe one bedroom suite, they form a total of three presidential suites.
