Mohamed Mounib has been promoted as the new managing director of Abu Dhabi Airport Catering and Duty Free.
He will oversee the operations at Abu Dhabi and Al Ain International airports for ADNH Compass. Mounib graduated from Cairo University in 1971 with a bachelor's degree in commercial and financial science. In 1982, he joined the Abu Dhabi National Hotels Company. After managing a large catering division for two years, he was appointed general manager for Abu Dhabi International Airport Duty Free shops and inflight catering in 1984. In 1992, Mounib took on additional responsibilities with the Department of Civil Aviation as its commercial development and marketing director, which involved negotiating developments for both airports.
