Ski Dubai welcomes millionth visitor

SKI Dubai reached a major milestone when the landmark leisure destination welcomed its millionth visitor after only a year of operation – testimony to the popularity of snow in the sultry Middle East.

The millionth visitor accompanied by his parents, Houssam Ahmed, a 12-year-old tourist from Egypt, was astounded to find out that he became a part of Ski Dubai. He won a prize package that includes an annual pass to Ski Dubai, a celebratory dinner at the St Moritz restaurant for himself and 10 of his friends, a one night stay for two at the Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates, which includes a limousine transfer and full board, and finally, a complete set of ski or snowboard equipment and clothing.
“Welcoming our millionth visitor is something that we have been very excited about here at Ski Dubai for a while. We can’t believe that it’s happened so quickly in such a short period of time,” said general manager at Ski Dubai Fuad Al Najjar.
