Expansions, new openings or closures?
In addition to celebrating the opening of its first palace hotel in the world in March this year in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia – the 50-suite premier property, Qasr Al Sharq or Palace of the Orient – Hilton’s expansion plan will see the opening of the 350-unit Hilton Ras Al Khaimah Beach Resort in the UAE, its first beachfront and Worldwide Resort property.
The spectacular 324-room Hilton Doha in Qatar, and the first Conrad in the Gulf in Dubai will open early 2007 and 2008 respectively. In addition, the Hilton Jumeirah Beach Club in Dubai is set to open its doors later this year.
Hilton International currently operates 32 hotels in the Middle East.
