Value-added service at new Kuwait hotel

BUSINESS travellers have another choice in Kuwait City with the opening of the new boutique Le Méridien Tower, offering five-star plus services at highly competitive room rates.

According to Hannes Yaghi, country manager for Le Méridien hotels and resorts in Kuwait, the KD60 room rate represents excellent value, not only among Kuwait’s deluxe properties but on a global scale too. Yaghi said: “Le Méridien Tower will be a star in its own right – the first Art+Tech hotel for Le Méridien in the region, offering hi-tech facilities unique in the area as well as a level of personalised service that is unrivalled.
“And all this will be delivered at a rate below the average in major business cities around the world, but without compromising on standards and services. We believe a burgeoning international market should see its product priced at a level that reflects other cities. We should not use the fact that occupancies are so high in Kuwait as a means to drive up prices.”
The 70-room boutique hotel, located in the heart of Kuwait City, will be a showcase for Le Méridien’s latest design concept that marries stylish décor with cutting-edge technology, ideally suited to the cosmopolitan business executive. Yaghi confirmed that the introduction of Art+Tech rooms in cities such as London had served to raise average room yields as customers chose to pay more for the new look rooms.
