For UAE residents, standard rooms together with Iftar buffet at the hotel during the Holy Month of Ramadan are on offer for Dh249 net per person, for a double occupancy, valid on Thursdays and Fridays only. Since the beginning of the Holy Month, each night at the hotel features the Ramadan Tent located at the poolside. The Tent has various specialties that are being offered to guests from the time it opens at 8.30pm till it closes at 2.30am. Besides providing a spectacular view of the creek, guests can sit and enjoy traditional games including backgammon. They can also sample a choice of traditional Arabic cuisine and complete the evening with Arabic coffee and shishas of different flavors. “Reflecting the peace and tranquility of the Holy Month of Ramadan, the setting is created around the finest Arabic traditions,” said Katerina Fajgar, public relations manager. At the entrance to the pool, the hotel has set up a Ramadan Bazaar, which features paintings, spices, fruits, dates, desserts and shishas among other attractions. The Bazaar will continue during the entire Ramadan period and into the Eid celebrations.Two of the hotel’s outlets have geared up for the occasion.At Boulvar, the hotel’s 24-hour restaurant, a different daily traditional Iftar buffet will be served at sundown featuring hot and cold mezzeh followed by a choice of main courses including the popular Ouzi.At the Persian restaurant Shabestan, the outlet has a special Persian and Arabic mezzeh buffet, a choice of delicious main courses and Persian sweets. Both Boulvar and Shabestan Iftar buffets are priced at Dhs. 99 only. Eid buffets for the following month are priced at Dhs. 119 only.The InterContinental Dubai has made a number of changes to its outlets in the past months, just at the beginning of summer, opened 3 new exciting outlets, The China Club, Yum! and Ku-Bu, which have all 3 become very popular to the Dubai scene.Boulvar restaurant and Mystizo restaurant, which opened both last year, just celebrated their first year anniversary in September, still doing great.
