The InterContinental, Doha has launched its summer promotion, which runs through to the end of August this year.
The hotel promises attractive rates for both Qatar nationals and residents as well as low rates aimed at business travellers coming to Qatar and GCC residents travelling for leisure purposes. "We have developed packages that we feel will appeal to all our major travellers this summer," says regional director of sales & marketing, Waddah Abu Al Ghanam. "My sales team is on the road promoting our summer rates for corporate businesses and this year we're also offering rates for GCC nationals of QR350 and QR400 including breakfast for a single or double room. Last year's promotion was extremely successful and we expect to do even better this year. For that reason, we have lined up exciting prizes, which have been generously donated by sponsors. "Every guest staying at the InterContinental Doha will receive one coupon per night that they stay, which will be entered into a monthly prize draw where they have the chance of winning thousands of riyals worth of prizes. "At the end of the three months, all coupons will be re-entered into a final draw to win a Mercedes A160 car." These rates include all taxes and is valid for any night of the week. The hotel confirms that up to two adults and two children under 18 can share one room at this rate. "We have the country's best leisure facilities, which all guests are free to use," says Waddah Abu Al Ghanam. "We offer the largest beach and outdoor pool in the country and have recently signed a contract with a company called Speed Marine to provide watersports facilities to us, which are brand new and superior to those offered elsewhere in the Middle East region. "This will give our guests even more to do on the beach."
