Business passengers on Gulf Air are set to enjoy a new range of benefits when the airline introduces a unique, tailored package designed specially for the frequent business traveller.
Business Plus, which is to be available in the second quarter of the year, combines a range of services that will offer convenience and style to create a unique travel experience for this particular segment of the market, and will be available to business travellers in and out of Abu Dhabi. Explaining the Business Plus package, John Butler, vice-president marketing and sales said: "As the capital of the Emirates, and one of Gulf Air's three gateways in the GCC, Abu Dhabi provides a central, convenient connection to key business destinations within the strongest regional network." "Capitalising on this central and strategic location, Business Plus will provide a unique range of `fast track' services which offer convenience and ease, beginning with the friendly and efficient meet and greet service at Abu Dhabi for outbound and inbound passengers," said Butler. "For example passengers travelling on any one of our fifteen non-stop flights between the UAE and London, Frankfurt or Paris, will be met kerbside at the airport and sped through all formalities - including check-in, immigration and customs. And as an added plus, travellers will only need to check in 40 minutes before departure - compared to the almost two-hour check-in up the road in Dubai." As part of the package, the recently introduced fleet of stylish S-Type Jaguar saloon cars are geared up to collect and transport First and Business class passengers between Abu Dhabi Airport and any destination in the UAE. Business Plus will build on the offering of style and luxury to include speed and efficiency as well as value for money. Other significant benefits of Business Plus for business travellers will special stopover rates at Gulf Air's exclusive partner hotels and resorts. "Combining innovation and careful market research, I believe Business Plus will provide the right mix of services to make business travel into the Emirates and beyond, a profitable experience for our passengers" said Butler.
