The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management and Hyatt Regency Dubai have joined together to offer work placement experience for students in a variety of positions at Hyatt Regency.
Sixteen students in their second year of study, accompanied by Emirates Academy staff, visited the hotel recently for a tour of the restaurants and rooms, and for placement interviews. The group was also briefed on Hyatt Regency's renovation programme, planned for this year. Opened in the summer of 2001, the academy is part of luxury hospitality group Jumeirah International. The Academy has an academic association with the Swiss hospitality school, Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne.
