The Hilton Al Ain hotel will celebrate its 30th anniversary this month with a special calendar of events and promotions.
The hotel, owned by the Abu Dhabi National Hotels Company, is one of the flagship properties of Hilton International, the first international brand to enter the UAE. "Our opening three decades ago marked a milestone for us, as Hilton became the first international hotel brand to open a property in the UAE," said general manager Jacques Boyadjian. To mark the occasion, the hotel which has played host to a string of celebrities over its 30 year history including Britain's Queen Elizabeth, the King and Queen of Spain and boxing champion Muhammad Ali, has a month-long celebration planned for guests and residents of Al Ain. To kick start the celebrations on October 10, the hotel is flying in 12 performers from France to entertain guests with a spectacular show, while dining on cuisine from all corners of the world. Fitness enthusiasts will be able to enjoy the numerous tennis, squash and golf tournaments that are planned throughout the month, with a host of prizes up for grabs including weekend breaks at Hilton hotels across the UAE and dinner vouchers. The hotel will run a special promotion themed on the anniversary with every 30th guest to check-in receiving the first room night for Dh30 ($8), with meal vouchers for Dh30 each, while special room rates for the month of October are Dh300 including breakfast and lunch. The hotel's food and beverage outlets are also participating with promotions and raffle draws, including an opportunity to win a flight to an overseas destination of choice with Hilton accommodation. The celebrations culminate with an open day on October 31 at the hotel's recreation centre, Hiltonia, where members can invite their friends to experience the pool club facilities.
