Uber has agreed to acquire Blacklane, marking a major step in its expansion into premium and executive travel. Founded in Berlin in 2011, Blacklane operates in over 500 cities across more than 60 countries, offering pre-booked chauffeur services via app and web platforms. The acquisition, expected to close by the end of 2026 subject to approvals, will strengthen Uber’s luxury travel offering, including Uber Reserve and Uber Elite.
