Pacific Asia Travel Association has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Filtrum Inc. during the PATA Annual Summit 2026 in South Korea, focusing on reducing microplastic contamination in drinking water. The partnership supports global tourism wellness and aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly clean water and sanitation. Areas of cooperation include research, knowledge exchange, advocacy and awareness campaigns targeting travellers and hospitality stakeholders.
