RateHawk marks 10 years of growth
RateHawk marks its 10th anniversary, highlighting strong growth and expansion plans as it enters its second decade. The platform now serves over 110,000 travel professionals across more than 120 markets, offering access to 3.2 million accommodation options, flights from over 400 airlines, and transfers in more than 150 countries.
In 2025, RateHawk reported a 40 per cent increase in net booking value and a 43 per cent rise in bookings year-on-year, reflecting demand for its AI-driven solutions. The company is now focusing on expanding its API capabilities to support major travel players, while enhancing its multi-product platform for retail partners.
Minor Hotels transforms digitally
Minor Hotels has announced plans to build a new global data and AI platform in partnership with Google Cloud, Salesforce, OneTrust and Deloitte, marking a major step in its digital transformation strategy. The platform will unify guest data, marketing and service operations across its more than 640 properties, enabling more personalised experiences and stronger direct guest relationships.
Built from scratch and set for deployment in 2026, the platform will leverage AI tools such as BigQuery and Vertex AI to support real-time personalisation, automation and intelligent service agents.
DCS plus unveils AI-powered ERP upgrade
dcs plus has launched TINA AI, the next-generation version of its travel ERP platform, embedding artificial intelligence directly into core operations. Designed for mid and back-office functions, the solution transforms agency data across bookings, invoicing, suppliers and reporting - into real-time, actionable insights without requiring additional tools or workflows.
At the heart of the upgrade is the TINA AI Assistant, a conversational interface that allows teams to query live business data using natural language and receive structured responses instantly. The platform also introduces AI-powered automation features to streamline data entry, reporting and navigation, improving efficiency for lean teams.
ICCA to develop conference tool
ICCA has launched a global initiative to develop the first-ever impact measurement tool for association conferences, aimed at quantifying their broader societal, scientific and economic value. The framework will go beyond traditional tourism metrics to capture contributions such as knowledge exchange, innovation, talent development and policy influence.
The project, expected to be completed by mid-2028, is being developed in collaboration with leading convention bureaus including Barcelona Convention Bureau, Copenhagen Convention Bureau, Business Events Sydney and Tokyo Convention & Visitors Bureau, alongside academic experts from institutions such as the University of Technology Sydney.
Skyscanner brings flight search to ChatGPT
Skyscanner has launched its app within ChatGPT, enabling travellers, particularly in the Middle East to search, compare and book flights through a conversational interface. Users can install the Skyscanner app via the ChatGPT app store and search using natural language queries, receiving real-time flight options and pricing directly within the chat.
The integration combines Skyscanner’s pricing data and comparison tools with a more intuitive, message-based experience, allowing users to refine searches by adjusting dates, destinations or airports seamlessly. With over 160 million monthly users, Skyscanner aims to reduce friction in travel planning while improving transparency and decision-making.
