AlUla is highlighting a range of immersive cultural and heritage experiences designed to give visitors a deeper understanding of the ancient oasis's history, traditions and natural landscapes.

The destination's latest tourism offerings encourage travellers to engage with local artisans, storytellers and guides through hands-on activities, historical tours and nature-based experiences that showcase AlUla's living heritage.

Among the featured attractions is the Hayaku Traditional Outfit Experience in AlUla Old Town, where visitors can wear traditional garments and learn about their cultural significance.

At Madrasat Addeera, local artisans lead workshops that introduce traditional crafts and contemporary interpretations of regional handicrafts.

History enthusiasts can join the Dadan and Jabal Ikmah Premium Tour, a guided 4x4 excursion exploring the ancient capital of the Dadanite and Lihyanite kingdoms and the inscription-filled cliffs of Jabal Ikmah, complemented by access to the Illuminating Discoveries exhibition.

Other experiences include a heritage walk linking AlUla Old Town with the Oasis, led by a Rawi storyteller, and the Hegra Wildlife and Nature Tour, which combines exploration of Saudi Arabia's first Unesco World Heritage Site with opportunities to observe native wildlife in its desert habitat.

Together, the experiences aim to position AlUla as a destination where history, culture and nature converge, offering visitors authentic encounters with the region's enduring traditions and archaeological treasures. -TTN
