THE Emirates Group will unveil its giant rotating globe, which will form the centrepiece of a spectacular much talked about stand at the ITB Berlin 2008.
The Emirates globe will host a fascinating interactive journey for those visiting the exhibitions. The group constantly seeks to push the boundaries and this new stand epitomises that philosophy.
Standing at 9.5 m high and boasting a 484 sq m footprint, the three storey globe is a huge captivating spherical signifying Emirates as a global brand.
The destination and leisure management division of the group will be participating at ITB, and this division includes Emirates Holidays, Emirates Hotels & Resorts, Arabian Adventures and Congress Solutions International.
Hans Haensel, divisional senior vice president Destination and Leisure Management, will once again lead a delegation of senior managers to meet with buyers, travel agents, tour operators, hoteliers and government tourism officials at the show.
Hans Haensel said, “We value ITB as an important global meeting place and have always had a strong presence at this event. This most attended exhibition allows us to meet, network, negotiate and conduct business with key players from the industry.”
Holiday and business travel will again be a growth market in 2008 and markets in Asia, the Arab countries and several Eastern European states are expected to be particularly dynamic.
A substantial number of exhibitors from these regions will be present at the ITB Berlin this year.
