The Sheraton Khalidiya Hotel Abu Dhabi, previously known as Sheraton Suites, is in the final stage of a multi-million dollar series of renovations that are set to firmly establish the hotel as one of the most chic and prestigious five-star properties in the UAE capital.

Al Farida Investment, the hotel’s owning company, has invested more than Dh40 million ($10.9 million) in the project and was divided into different phases starting with the rooms then moving on to the lobby area and later the food outlets and meeting facilities.
Set in the heart of Abu Dhabi’s commercial district – just minutes away from great shopping and white sandy beaches – the hotel welcomes guests through a beautifully re-designed entrance into an attractive expanded lobby, filled with friendly staff and offering wireless internet access.
The highly trained and professional staff is singularly focused on meeting guests’ needs and surpassing their expectations while staying in one of the 240 spacious deluxe rooms and suites – 195 were completely renovated prior to October 2004 and an additional 40 rooms will be ready by the summer of 2007. Boasting spectacular panoramic views over the sparkling Arabian Gulf or the quickly growing city center of Abu Dhabi, each room & suite comes fully equipped with Sweet Sleeper beds, as well as the latest technologies and luxurious amenities.
By June, the hotel will also add three more meeting rooms and launch a pub and restaurant – a unique addition to the Abu Dhabi social scene – to complement the two modern and trendy restaurants already in operation. Guests will also enjoy the hotel’s upgraded health club, saunas and steam baths for men and women, and temperature-controlled rooftop swimming pool.
“We look forward to welcoming our regulars as well as new guests from Abu Dhabi and around the world to enjoy a higher plane of luxury at what is set to become one of the city’s most exclusive hotels,” said general manager Gabriel Khoury.
