Al Awadi also commented that the launch of the new website marks the start of a partnership between Alshamel Holidays and Miki Travel which has been established since 1967 in London UK, which he described as “one of the top players in the market”.
It also represents the introduction of a new cruise product via the Alshamel Holidays website, in coordination with ‘CruiseRep’. Al Awadi explained that for the first time, agents can now search cruise offers and rates via the website www.alshamel.ae and make real-time bookings and receive confirmations immediately. Luxury cruises such as ‘Crystal Cruise’, ‘Princess Cruises’, ‘Radisson Seven Seas’, and ‘Silver Seas’.
“At Alshamel Holidays we work hard and perform at the highest levels in order to make our services to you in line with international standards, continuing to make it difficult for our competitors to match,” Al Awadi continued, addressing approximately 150 attendees from local travel and the tourism industry.
This was also an opportunity for Alshamel Holidays to recognize the travel agents and partners who have contributed to the recent success of the company. Awards for outstanding performance were distributed to the Top 5 Alshamel Holidays agents for 2004: Alshamel Travel, Al Othman World Travel, Al Bader Travel, Al Mustaqbal Travel & Tourism, Al Wadi Travel and Tourism. The Top 25 sellers of the Alshamel Holidays product were also recognised.
