Le Jeddah Meridien has 284 luxury rooms including a Royal Suite, 14 Diplomatic Suites, 15 Executive Suites, Studio Rooms and Royal Club Floors.

"All rooms offer direct dial telephone/fax, voice mail system, computer modem connection, interactive satellite television with movie channel and personal safes," said the spokesman.

"A private lounge open 24 hours a day, offers complimentary tea, coffee, continental breakfast, hors d'oeuvres and beverage. Each room also includes a video player."

The hotel also offers one of the largest and most flexible conference facility in Jeddah, capable of accommodating reception of 1,100 people in its Al Fayrouz banquet hall and more than 600 people in its smaller Al Noor ballroom.

"They are fully equipped with the latest state-of-the-art audiovisual and lighting equipment," said the spokesman.

"In addition the hotel offers six meeting rooms on the ground and mezzanine floors. Each ballroom also has a dedicated bridal suite for weddings."

The hotel also provides a fully equipped business centre offering full secretarial service, private meeting rooms and computer workstations.

After a hectic business day, Le Jeddah Meridien has a wide range of dining and recreation options to drain the stress away, said the spokesman.

Recreational facilities at the hotel include swimming pool, tennis and squash courts, gym, Jacuzzi and sauna and steam baths.

A tempting choice of cuisine is available at the hotel's three main outlets, the La Brasserie, Texan and the Tea Room.
