GF fills senior posts
MANAMA:
Gulf Air (GF) has announced two senior appointments in its public relations department at the beginning of the second year of its turnaround programme. Sadek Karam has been appointed as the new head of corporate affairs at Gulf Air. Hisham Abu Al Fateh is another new addition to the team taking on the role of manager public relations.

Kenyon for ATM team
DUBAI:
Dubai-based Lloyd Kenyon has joined the sales team of Arabian Travel Market - the Middle East’s foremost travel and tourism exhibition - in a move which mirrors the growth of the annual show. Kenyon, 25, joins the team as sales manager working out of Dubai and covering the entire Middle East.

Sayegh joins Radisson
CAIRO:
Magdi Sayegh has been appointed director of sales and marketing at the five star Radisson SAS Resort, Taba, on Egypt’s Sinai Riviera.
Married with two children, the new sales and marketing director is fluent in written and spoken English, French and Arabic, and brings a great deal of experience to the 348-bedroomed resort.
Magdi is a member of the Executive Committee of the hotel and manages a team of five people at the impressive property.

Platinum guest at Marriott
DUBAI:
The JW Marriott Dubai welcomed its first Platinum Premier guest to the hotel on January 22. Ron Henderson arrived at the hotel for a four-day business trip in Dubai. Platinum Premier is the new rewards classification from Marriott Rewards, Marriott International’s customer loyalty programme.

Renard expands family
DUBAI:
Kris Sehgal has joined Renard International in its human resources Department, while Celine Heinrich has joined the company as a hospitality consultant at its Dubai office.

Sherbini takes lead role
MAKKAH:
The InterContinental Hotels Group has appointed Mohamed Sherbini as the new general manager of the InterContinental Dar Al Tawhid Hotel Makkah, one of 21 hotels managed by the company in Saudi Arabia.
