The city of Warsaw celebrated the opening of the new Westin Warsaw Hotel, located in the heart of the business and financial center of the Polish capital.

The owner of The Westin Warsaw is Hotel Atrium where main shareholders are Skanska, Portman Holding, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide and the City of Warsaw. The total investment is Euros79.5 million.

The Westin Warsaw Hotel, a 20-floor international business hotel, includes 361 rooms, meeting facilities, a ballroom, a 150 square meters presidential suite with panoramic view onto the city of Warsaw, the restaurant Fusion, the JP’s Bar and a fitness center.

“After the Sheraton Warsaw Hotel & Towers, a luxury property opened in 1996, which has set new standards for the hospitality industry in Poland, the Westin Warsaw is another milestone for Starwood showing our commitment to this country and especially to this city, and we are sure that the Westin Warsaw will become a landmark in terms of architecture, services and comfort,” said Roeland Vos, president of Europe Africa & Middle East Division of Starwood Hotels & Resorts.

The hotel was designed by the architects John Portman & Associates of Atlanta, Georgia, USA; Design Office Kazimierski and Ryba, Warsaw, Poland; and Skanska Teknik Ab, Sweden.
