The newly-launched air arabia will begin flights from Sharjah International Airport to six Arab capitals from October 28, said a top company official.
air arabia chief executive Adel Ali, quoted by the Gulf News, said the technical and administrative departments were racing against time to run the maiden flights on its six 150-seater Airbus 320s to Doha, Muscat, Kuwait, Bahrain, Beirut and Tehran on October 28, this year.
An official said that the new company would operate with an initial capital of Dh10 million ($2.7 million) and would contribute to the development of the air transport sector in the UAE.
