Stable tour woos visitors

Caddyshack ... The early morning stable tour is becoming a popular activity.

Fast becoming an essential part of a Dubai visitor activity list is the Nad Al Sheba Club early morning Stable Tour - available three mornings a week - Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.

The tour begins in front of the Clubhouse. Guests are escorted to the stables and get to see world-class thoroughbreds in busy morning training sessions.

The visit to the stables is followed by breakfast at the Clubhouse, enjoyed while horses train on the course.

The tour ends with a visit to the Godolphin Gallery.

Guests finish the tour with a final drive in their golf cart to the Shop at the Club where souvenirs and merchandise is in popular demand. Every Thursday until April 10 racing can be enjoyed from many vantage points at Nad Al Sheba.

General Admission badges gain access to the Millennium Grandstand and Clubhouse for $16 or you can choose from one of three options.

  • DUBAI RESTAURANT - LEVEL 3 ($46)

    A three-course meal inclusive of a half bottle of wine is served.

  • DEL MAR BAR - LEVEL 4 ($35)

    The Del Mar Bar offers live commentary is broadcast on numerous screens throughout the bar and buffet area.

  • GAINSBOROUGH LOUNGE - LEVEL 5 ($53)

    The Gainsborough Lounge offers an all-inclusive package which features 'all you can eat and drink' from 6pm- 11pm every race night.
