Galal Hamdy has been appointed as human resources manager Hilton International Middle East.
Hamdy brings with him over 20 years of experience with Hilton International. He graduated from the Tourism and Hotel College in Cairo and began his career at the Nile Hilton in 1980 as a room clerk. He was promoted to executive floors manager in 1985. From there, he moved to personnel and in 1993 he attended the professional development programme at Cornell University in USA and became the Nile Hilton personnel manager.
