The Doha Gulf Marriott Hotel has lined up special deals for visitors to Qatar this summer.
The hotel said it is offering a weekend package for local resident at QR200 ($53) while similar packages are available for people from outside Doha at QR295 including breakfast. The weekend packages are valid from Wednesday to Friday. Public relations manager Angy Dakroury said the Marriott was also fully supporting the Qatar General Tourism Authority's Summer Wonders promotion aimed at attracting more visitors to the country this holiday season. The hotel is also offering a special corporate rate of QR290 to its key target market of business travellers. Dakroury said Doha Marriott was currently the top business hotel in terms of market share with average occupancy of 73 per cent. "We are very optimistic over regional growth for both the business and leisure travellers," she said.
