Renaissance Dubai sees steady growth

The Renaissance Hotel, Dubai has been growing steadily in terms of brand awareness in the region (being only the second Renaissance in the Middle East), according to general manager, Francisco Giles.

It has seen an increase of seven per cent in occupancy from 2001-2002 and a further five per cent increase has been forecast.
The hotel is offering special rates to promote its exclusive club floor where guests stay for three nights and get the fourth night free for Dh375 for a single and Dh425 for a double room per night.
The hotel has 13 functions rooms, a multi cuisine outlet, Spice Island, and its very own bar, a pub/bistro with a DJ seven nights a week and various theme nights, an all day dining restaurant, the Garden Café and the Aquarium Lounge coffee shop. The Garden Café and the Aquarium Lounge will be fully renovated during the summer 2004.
On the sports side, the hotel offers a pool, two fully equipped gyms, saunas, steam and massage rooms and car parking for 500 cars.
Over the next six months the hotel will concentrate on renovating the food and beverage outlets on the lobby level starting with Spice Island.
