Shopping for fruits and vegetables will not be a chore during the coming DSF. In a brilliant transformation, AL Seef street will be converted into a visually dynamic mini-market, with special departments selling items such as fruits and vegetables, cards, bangles etc.
Says Suhaila Ghobash, corporate alliance co-ordinator the Dubai Shopping Festival office: "Al Seef is one of the most picturesque streets of Dubai, and the high buildings on the Deira side are in perfect contrast to the market concept that we are planning to implement during DSF 2003. Ideal weather conditions and the creek make it an attractive boulevard for families who want to spend time together. The Al Seef Mini Market will add colourful dimension to the entire experience with the highly decorated inputs. International hoteliers and experts from the field of arts will organise workshops on subjects ranging from fruit carving, flower arrangement, bangle making and card decoration. DSF also a special tie-up with the Dubai Educational Zone through which school students can participate in the various workshops being organised at the Al Seef Street through tours organised specially for them. Al Seef Street is one of the key streets of Dubai Shopping Festival.
