Tumbi West Palm Beach Hotel Dubai, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, has made a distinctive entry into Dubai's competitive hospitality scene, offering a unique blend of wellness and tranquillity amidst the vibrant energy of West Beach. The property, which opened in March 2025, is the brainchild of owner Ali Ashraf Tumbi, whose personal commitment to the brand underpins its philosophy.

"Tumbi is the name of the owner, Mr. Ali Ashraf Tumbi, so it's something very close to him personally and once you have your name on a product, it comes with a lot of responsibility," Babar Khanyari, General Manager of TUMBI Hotels, tells TTN’s Kim Thomson at ATM. This personal stake translates into a clear operational directive: "For us, it's very important reputation over revenue. Every guest that leaves the door leaves happy."

Unlike other hotels, Khanyari emphasises that guest satisfaction and employee engagement are not just important but imperative for TUMBI Hotels. This commitment to quality and heartfelt service is particularly crucial in the bustling West Beach area, known globally as a lively party district.

"What we offer is the calmness while the chaos is outside," Khanyari noted, describing the hotel's architecture as very Middle Eastern yet sustainable, designed to create serenity and peace within its walls. The hotel's focus on health, wellness and wellbeing is a core part of its mind, body, and soul philosophy.

Since its opening in January 2025, Tumbi West Palm Beach Hotel Dubai, Tapestry Collection by Hilton has seen strong performance, with April occupancy hitting 80-85 per cent after a quieter Ramadan period. Current feeder markets for the hotel include Europe, Asia, America and the GCC for long weekend breaks.

TUMBI Hotels has ambitious growth plans. While this West Beach property marks their first venture, Khanyari revealed two more properties are in the pipeline for the UAE, with others close to signing in the Maldives, Europe and in Saudi Arabia.

Khanyari highlighted the hotel's strong belief in long-term quality over short-term gains. "We are here for a long term. And for long term, you must give quality. You must give heartfelt service because at the end of the day, you're in the business of humans," he stated, reinforcing the human-centric approach in an increasingly AI-driven world.
