Shangri-la ’S Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa has an inviting offer for all GCC residents to experience the atmosphere of the holy month of Ramadan amongst the remarkable landscapes of the resort.

Only during the month of Ramadan, the resort will offer special room rates starting from $170 in the five-star Al Waha, $275 in the five-star deluxe Al Bandar and $535 in the exclusive Al Husn.
Rates are for single/double occupancy and are inclusive of tax and service charge as well as breakfast/ Suhour.
An additional attraction this year will be the seven VIP tents. These private tents will each feature a 14” television set, DVD player and selection of DVDs (including football matches), selection of games and daily newspapers as well as portable AC units and partitions. The daily rent for the VIP tents starts from $210.
The popular Al Tanoor restaurant will offer a traditional Iftar Buffet featuring a lavish mouth-watering selection of Arabian dishes. The authentic Middle Eastern décor, beautiful views over the Sablah area and live entertainment by a Lebanese instrumental duo will further complement the experience and make Al Tanoor the perfect ambience for a family Iftar. The price is $35 per person and further discounts for kids.
The award-winning Shahrazad will offer an authentic Moroccan Iftar, featuring a select menu of traditional dishes, authentic ambience and live instrumental music. Guests will be pampered in style, with designated private parking, personalised menu for each guest (if names are advised beforehand) and fragrant cold towels. The price is $47 per person, with a 10 per cent discount for groups with more than 10 guests.
Every night from 8pm onwards, the popular Sablah area of Al Bandar hotel will revive the authentic ambience of a local village with traditional Arabian tents and live entertainment.
Time-honoured Ramadan delicacies will be served alongside traditional hot and cold refreshments.  For those with a sweet tooth, legendary local deserts such as Omani Halwa, Umm Ali and Basbousa will be on offer. 
Shisha pipes and board games will be available for after-meal relaxation, complemented by traditional live music.  Weekly draws will give away exciting prizes.
