The Ramadan Marquee at The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai this year encompasses two levels to cater for corporate events as well as family celebrations. Situated in the landscaped grounds of the hotel and overlooking the beach, the glassed exterior offers panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Ramadan timings are Iftar: sunset until 8 pm; Sohour: 9 pm until 11.30 pm; Shisha Lounge: 11:30 pm until 2 am.
An entire floor of the Ramadan Marquee is dedicated to private corporate events that can accommodate up to 400 people for Iftar or Sohour for a celebration with colleagues and clients. There is also a dedicated meetings and special events team on hand to organise any tailor made corporate evenings.
Regional specialties and the best of Arabic cuisine is showcased by the hotel’s team of chefs. Iftar unveils a buffet of hot and cold mezze, salads of tabouleh and fattouche, and aromatic meats and traditional desserts of baklava and umm ali.
At Sohour, guests can savour fresh Arabic breads, shawarmas and other delectable dishes showcased at five live stations with chefs demonstrating their cooking talent in front of diners.
VIP areas for exclusive gatherings are available complete with private butler for the duration of the evening, Each private VIP area can accommodate 10 to 12 guests in luxury.
Latecomers will appreciate that a select menu of hot and cold mezze are available after Sohour, together with an extensive selection of shisha flavours. This year, there are 30 flavours of shisha to choose from, one for every day of Ramadan.
