The JW Marriott Hotel Kuwait and the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel Kuwait have announced the appointment of Thomas Buehner as country general manager.
Buehner comes with over 25 years of experience in hospitality industry with Marriott.
In the beginning of his career, he held several food and beverage management positions in Chicago, New Orleans, Fort Lauderale and Seattle in the US. Since 1995, Thomas has held general manager assignments in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, Moscow, Russia, Seoul, Korea, and until April 2003 in Shenyang, China.
Buehner was appointed in May 2003 as general manager of the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel Kuwait City and he has a proven record of outstanding performance.
The experience gained throughout his Marriott career and his recent experience in Kuwait made him well equipped to lead the teams of all Marriott properties in Kuwait.
In his new role, Thomas Buehner will be responsible for Marriott properties in Kuwait: the JW Marriott Hotel, the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel and Arraya Convention Hall.
