Pascal Bertrand, operations director for the Abu Dhabi Grand, has started 2003 with just one mission: to translate the vision of the hotel's general manager Francesco Borrello as the hotel re-launches as Le Royal Meridien Abu Dhabi later this year.
Bertrand has held a number of high-profile positions around the world, specialising in food and beverage, before coming to the Abu Dhabi Grand as Borrello's second-in-command.
