Asean leaders sign tourism agreement

South-east Asian leaders signed a tourism agreement that will allow easier travel and open up the key air services sector in the region in a bid to revive confidence after the attacks in Bali.

The agreement between the 10 Association of South-east Asian Nations (Asean) leaders signed provides for more cooperation and information sharing on immigration matters among South-east Asian law-enforcement agencies, seen as an effort to ease visitor concerns over potential terrorist attacks.
