Fun in the sun at Dilmun Water Park

THE Lost Paradise of Dilmun Water Park in Bahrain has extended its opening hours for the summer holidays.

The new opening hours are from 10 am to 6 pm everyday, with the family fun water park closing only on Tuesdays. On Thursdays, the park will be open from 10 am until 5 pm for the general public and from 6 pm to midnight for the ever popular ladies night.

“The summer months are ideal for enjoying the Lost Paradise of Dilmun with the weather getting hotter. We want to give our guests more time to enjoy our rides, wave pool and the sandy beach in a family filled environment that compliments outdoor entertainment,” commented Paul Blunt, general manager of the Lost Paradise of Dilmun.

Friends and family can enjoy the Paradise River packed with surging waterfalls and fountains, or take one of the 14 fast new rides and attractions, relax in the spa pool or snack at any one of the eight different food outlets.

Costs for one day: anyone more than 1.2 m tall pays BD14; while guests under 1.2m pay BD5.

Taking its theme from Bahrain’s rich cultural heritage (the Kingdom was the centre of the ancient Dilmun empire more than 5,000 years ago) Lost Paradise and the adjacent five star Banyan Tree Desert Spa and Resort are the first components in the $1.3 billion Al Areen Development.
