For the third consecutive year, BITE 2008 will be organising a hosted buyers programme for key international MICE planners.
More than 500 people applied to join the programme and BITE organiser MEEM said it will host a select group of 140 delegates under the programme.
Last year about 70 people participated in the scheme.
The hosted MICE buyers will come from more than 24 countries.
The comprehensive programme includes one on one meetings between buyers and sellers at the travel show and an opportunity for the participants to experience and taste Bahrain’s hospitality and delights.
The feedback from delegates who participated in the last year’s show has been very encouraging, said Jamil Wafa, chairman of MEEM, event organiser.
