The Bahrain International Travel Expo (BITE) will take place from 15 to 17 May at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre.

For the fourth consecutive year, BITE will be held under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, crown prince and chairman of the Bahrain Economic Development Board who will inaugurate the Expo on 14 May.
The show offers a forum for international operators from a cross section of travel related businesses including airlines, car rental companies, cruise lines, education, health resorts and spas, hotels, medical tourism, MICE organisers, tourism boards, tourism TV channels, tour operators, travel agents, travel insurance and travel and tourism publishers to interact with around 20,000 consumers and international MICE buyers at one place.
BITE 2008 offers all participating organisations an opportunity to showcase their travel and destination products and services, to generate and explore new leads, expand and consolidate business connections and address specific issues for personal and corporate needs.
Here consumers get to meet leading travel and tourism providers, and can obtain up-to-date information about the travel and tourism industry trends and strengthen and develop business networks.
For the third consecutive year the “BITE the MICE” hosted buyers programme for key international MICE planners from around the world will be organised at the show. The programme includes one-on-one meetings between buyers and sellers.
