A keen participant at WTM this month, the Middle East operations of Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group (DTAG) will have a team of executives on hand from a number of their regional markets to highlight the company’s many product and service benefits.

Representatives from official DTAG licensees in Turkey, Egypt, and the UAE will be at WTM, as will Thrifty Oman, Thrifty Jordan, Thrifty India and Dollar India, with experts available to discuss the companies’ extensive mix of products and services that are ideally suited for European markets.
“Our experience with both business and leisure travellers from Europe has demonstrated that they prefer a wide range of manual-drive, affordable rental options and a diversity of collection and drop-off points.
“From a service perspective, elements such as our staff members’ strong English skills, and a detailed knowledge of the driving regulations in each market are enabling DTAG to continue attracting rental interest from European visitors to our region,” said Sam ElTibi, executive director, MENA and Asia-Pacific, Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group.
ElTibi elaborated on the platform that WTM provides for his staff and licensees to create a sense of comfort about renting with DTAG in the wider Middle East and Asia region.
“Driving in a different country can be a daunting experience for even the most seasoned travelelr but having DTAG's comprehensive market knowledge to draw on means it doesn’t have to be,” he said.
“WTM enables us to highlight ways in which we provide our European customers with all the information they need to drive safely in the region, including specifics on speed limits, traffic laws and constantly updated maps – which are critical in a region that is updating its road infrastructure. DTAG is continuously working to help Europeans gain a greater understanding of the regional market and as a result, get the most from their visit.”
