Golden Tulip Hotels, Inns and Resorts is set to open two new hotels in the UAE, in Sharjah and Ajman respectively.
The new five-star 264-unit Golden Tulip Sharjah, to be located on the Buhairah Lagoon, while the 1000-unit Golden Tulip Ajman will be the largest hotel in the group’s portfolio.

Tourism in Ajman is currently undergoing a major transformation and will soon become one of the region’s top business and leisure destinations. The Ajman project, located by the new Hamidiya flyover bridge and intersection, has been divided into two phases. The first phase comprises 444 hotel suites and apartments spread in three towers, The Residence, The Suites and The Executive Apartments, each having a mixture of studios, one-bedroom and connecting rooms. It is due to open in early 2008, while the second is a 550-room hotel with a revolving restaurant, the first of its kind in the emirate of Ajman. It is expected to open in the second quarter of 2009.
On the leisure side, the property promises fun and recreation for visiting families and business traveller alike with several pools, a large gymnasium and fitness centre, sauna, steam Jacuzzi, Restaurants and F&B Outlets, dedicated children play areas, shopping arcade and many more promising it guests lots of fun and an enjoyable stay.
The Golden Tulip Sharjah will comprise of 264 suites and hotel apartments, with major meeting and banquet facilities. Opening this month, the hotel has several room categories to suite all its potential guests starting from two types of studios, 1, 2 & 3 bedroom suites, all fully furnished and elegantly furnished to the tiniest detail to include a fully equipped kitchen in every unit. The hotel also includes three executive floors with a separate dedicated executive club lounge for the elite business travelers seeking their privacy.
The hotel also has excellent recreation facilities to include a shopping mall, children’s arcade and play zone, swimming pool, gymnasium and health club and many more. Two F&B outlets in addition to the many in the mall give the guests a wide variety and many cuisines to choose from.
