Plans for 2007?
Virgin Atlantic is planning to launch two more routes for 2007. We will begin operating direct services to Chicago from April 23 and launch services to Mauritius in October, both originating from London.
We will also be doubling our daily services to Washington from next April. We are also rolling out the new Premium Economy seat and are confident it will result in a growth in passengers as well as taking market share from other airlines. The revamped Premium Economy product will be available on the Dubai-Heathrow route from January. [In 2006,] we will fly more passengers than ever before – around 5 million.

New markets?
We constantly look for new and emerging markets to fly to. We have a long wish list of new destinations worldwide which includes Rio, Nairobi, Toronto, Beijing and Melbourne.

New for travellers?
Virgin Atlantic now has its award-winning Upper Class Suite on every aircraft so any passengers booking Upper Class will experience this award-winning product. We will be rolling out our new Premium Economy product – a new wider leather seat along with an enhanced meal service and dedicated crew. And as for any other developments – you’ll just have to watch this space!
