Jordan to host diverse events in 2025
Jordan is preparing for a year filled with music, poetry, and art events. The country is introducing a diverse lineup of artists and cultural programmes, including the Jordan International Food Festival and the Amman International Film Festival.

Jordan is preparing for a year filled with music, poetry, and art events. The country is introducing a diverse lineup of artists and cultural programmes, including the Jordan International Food Festival and the Amman International Film Festival.
The festival celebrates Jordan's culinary heritage, featuring soulful melodies from Ahmed Saad, who blends modern pop with traditional Arabic music.
Headline acts include Sami Yusuf and Amr, who will be performing in Jordan for the first time.
The Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts, held from July 23 to August 2, is a highlight of the festival, set against the backdrop of ancient amphitheaters.
The Pluma Circus, a story of self-discovery and empowerment, is also a highlight. Other events include the 'Friends of Jordan' festivals, Echoes of Heritage at Kerak Castle, opera performances by Farrah El Dibany, and the popular puppet character Abla Fahita.
The Amman International Film Festival, from July 2 to 10, celebrates independent film and the best of Arab movies. Amman will host the '165 Entertainment Event', featuring Iraqi singer and composer Kadim Al Sahir, alias The Caesar, performing on August 14.
The month of August is also celebrated with performances by Hiba Tawaji and Oussama Rahbani at Abdali and Fuheis Festival, a town between Salt and Amman.
Finally, the celebrations continue with an Umm Kalthoum tribute by May Farouq at the Roman Theatre on September 20 and the legendary Amr Diab performing at Aqaba.
In October, Sami Yusuf will headline a concert. Other events include the Bromine Amman Marathon on October 17 for health and fitness enthusiasts, followed by the Ayla Red Sea Marathon in December.
