With summer fast approaching, plan multi-generational travel to the UAE with its myriad attractions suitable for the whole family at the iconic Jumeirah Burj Al Arab that has just launched a new one-bedroom family suite. Families seeking to splurge, might head to Amanzoe in Greece to sample their take on newly revealed family accommodations – where the biggest villa comes with its own spa and multiple pools. Head to Singapore’s Sentosa Island with its theme parks, adventure parks and water parks, in the country’s first all-villa resort – the newly unveiled Raffles Sentosa. Safari lovers should head to Botswana for the freshly reopened, sustainable Wilderness Chitabe.

JUMEIRAH BURJ AL ARAB, UAE

Jumeirah Burj Al Arab has unveiled its new one-bedroom family suite, available with a choice of king bed or twin-sized beds and with tailored amenities for babies and children.

Featuring a one-bedroom layout, the suite comfortably accommodates up to two adults and two children under the age of 17 with the added convenience of an additional bed and sofa bed in its living space.

For a well-rounded retreat, the guest experience at Jumeirah Burj Al Arab extends outside of the parameters of its refined suites, beginning with a welcome drink upon arrival and including a daily breakfast that allows guests to savour the beginning of each day. A Jumeirah Burj Al Arab retreat includes access to the hotel’s world-class facilities, including the SAL Beach Club and private beach, the Summersalt Beach Club, and Wild Wadi Waterpark. Additionally, children can delight in activities at the Madinat Jumeirah Kids’ Club, making this an ideal choice for both rejuvenation and entertainment.

RAFFLES SENTOSA, SINGAPORE

Raffles Hotels & Resorts has opened the country’s first all-villa resort, Raffles Sentosa Singapore, set within 100,000 square metres of lush tropical greenery on Sentosa Island. What better place for family fun than on Singapore’s famed Sentosa Islands with its myriad entertainment?

The 62-key resort blends natural beauty and impeccable hospitality, with holistic wellbeing at the forefront. The Raffles Sentosa Spa, housed in a transformed heritage landmark building, features 13 treatment rooms and offers a contemporary wellbeing journey. While there is no kids club on site, there are family-friendly activities suitable for all ages, including guided tours and a muster of resident peacocks.

Just a 15-minute drive from the city’s Central Business District, the resort is perched on a hilltop surrounded by the lush greenery of Sentosa Island, Asia’s first Global Sustainable Tourism Council-certified island destination.

AMANZOE, GREECE

Amanzoe Greece stands as a modern-day Acropolis, enveloped by fragrant gardens and ancient olive groves. Just in time for the new season, the luxurious retreat has introduced an additional three-bedroom property, ideal for families.

With meals prepared by a personal chef and a dedicated host tending to every need, each villa features an expansive private pool, landscaped gardens and a large terrace encouraging outdoor entertaining. The largest ‘Villa 20’ comes with its own spa and multiple pools.

Further enhancing Amanzoe’s family appeal, a new Family Experience Guide now showcases the abundance of age-tailored activities on offer, with a host of additional experiences for 2025.

Little ones can try their hand at botany in the resort’s organic garden; learn the art of ceramics; immerse in the local way of living through Greek dancing; venture to a nearby working farm; or relax with a child-friendly yoga session or olive oil massage. Whether unleashing their creativity or cultivating environmental awareness, each experience has been designed to help little explorers discover a new appreciation for the natural world.

WILDERNESS CHITABE, BOTSWANA

Nestled within a private 22,000-hectare concession in Botswana’s Okavango Delta, Wilderness Chitabe, the legendary camp, has reopened following an extensive and carefully considered rebuild that enhances its sustainability, comfort and immersive safari experience.

The opening offers a great place to visit with older children, a great safari adventure with the whole family in southern Africa.

Chitabe’s exceptional location within the NG31 private concession – bordered by Moremi Game Reserve and flanked by the Gomoti Channel and Santantadibe River – sets it apart.

The concession is a year-round game-viewing paradise, where prides of lions, packs of African wild dogs, leopards, cheetahs and other predators thrive. More than 50 individual leopards have been recorded in the area, a testament to the region’s incredible biodiversity. Elephant, buffalo, zebra, and giraffe roam alongside impala, tsessebe, and kudu, while Chitabe’s location in an internationally recognised Important Bird and Biodiversity Area (IBA) makes it a rewarding destination for birdwatchers.
