Corinthia Hotels International’s new projects boost MICE market

The conference and events market in Budapest, Lisbon and Tripoli received a major boost with the addition of Corinthia Hotels International’s three latest and biggest hotel projects to hit the international conference scene – the Corinthia Grand Hotel Royal in Budapest, Corinthia Alfa Hotel and Congress Centre in Lisbon, and the Corinthia Bab Africa Hotel in Tripoli, add an impressive 1270 upscale hotel rooms, and extensive conference and events facilities that enable all three properties to individually handle bigger meetings than any other hotels in their respective cities.

All this affirms Corinthia as the undisputed market leader in these increasingly-popular conference destinations.
The three hotels now join a select portfolio of 13 ‘conference specialist’ hotels in Malta, Tunisia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Libya, Russia and Portugal.
Declared officially open last year by the President of Hungary, and hailed as a major milestone for the City of Budapest’s continued revival, the Corinthia Grand Hotel Royal is a landmark redevelopment of a historic 19th century hotel in the heart of Budapest, Hungary.
Located in the heart of Lisbon’s modern financial district, and within close distance of two major shopping malls and the historical city centre, the Corinthia Alfa Hotel and Congress Centre is due to re-open in May of this year with 517 well-appointed guestrooms and suites.
The recently-opened Corinthia Bab Africa Hotel, a northern gateway to Libya and to the vast African continent, is situated on the Tripoli coastline, adjacent to the city’s business hub.
It is a superior deluxe five-star hotel that is setting new standards of excellence on the African continent with its spectacular architecture, luxurious interior design and superior service.
