Rezidor SAS, the parent group of Radisson SAS Hotels and Resorts, which operates 12 properties across the Middle East, has signed agreements for two new resorts in Europe: the Radisson SAS Resort in Sylt, Germany and the Radisson SAS Golden Sands Resort in Malta.
Both resorts are planned to open in mid-2005.
Sylt is a popular seaside resort and is Germany’s northernmost island. The Radisson SAS Resort will be developed in the city of List, in the northern part of the island. All 184 rooms, including 24 junior suites and 24 suites, will have sea views. A Thalasso Therapy Wellness Centre will be connected to the main building, and the resort will further offer an all-day dining restaurant, a bar, an exclusive Vinothek, 700 sq m of meeting and conference facilities and parking.
The 300-room, five-star luxury Radisson SAS Golden Sands Resort on Malta is currently under construction and is situated on the cliffs overlooking Golden Bay. The resort will further offer three restaurants, a cocktail bar, two poolside bars, a ballroom, conference facilities a business centre and a nightclub.
