Gulf Air has launched its new look Frequent flyer programme to customers across its network, offering existing and new members the chance to win a million frequent flyer miles in addition to a host of additional benefits and enhanced services.
Under the new name - Gulf Air Frequent flyer programme - customers from as young as two can earn miles as members of the programme every time they fly on Gulf Air, Gulf Traveller or Oman Air flights.
A significant change is the extension of the period during which members can earn and redeem miles from three to ten years.
Not everything has changed. Full First Class fares still earn triple miles, full Business Class fares double miles, and full Economy Class fares earn one mile per mile flown. Discounted fares will still earn miles, with discount First and Business Class fares attracting miles at 70 per cent of the full fare entitlements and discount Economy Class fares at varying percentages depending on the level of discount.
Members will continue to receive excess baggage, priority check-in, priority baggage handling, priority waitlists, and lounge access depending on their membership level.
