Rotana Hotels, Suites and Resorts has announced several senior appointments in the UAE.
Hussein Hachem has been appointed as the new general manager for Jumeirah Rotana Hotel in Dubai. A hotel school graduate, Hachem has been in the hospitality industry for 22 years. He spent 14 years with Sheraton Hotels before joining Rotana Hotels in 1993. Hachem has worked at the Beach Rotana Hotel in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain Rotana Hotel, A1 Sayeda Zeinab Rotana Hotel in Damascus and now joins Jumeirah Rotana Hotel. Hachem has a genuine belief in customer care and brings many years of management experience. Also at Jumeirah Rotana, Robert Kunz has been appointed the food and beverage manager. Kunz has worked in Abu Dhabi, Beijing and Germany and is no stranger to luxury hotels. Kunz has already implemented several exciting ideas for the outlets at the hotel. Amanda Lines has been named as the marketing communications manager for Rotana Hotels in Dubai and Sharjah. Lines has worked in marketing at Burj A1 Arab in Dubai and Crowne Plaza in Abu Dhabi. Prior to coming to the UAE three years ago she worked in England and the Baltic States.
