The Oman tourist office's recent blitz of promotions in Dubai, which targeted educational institutions, has paid off, with several contingents of Dubai students and teachers having booked for two night-three day getaways in the Sultanate starting from December.
Presentations were made at schools and colleges in Dubai, said R T Pasha, tourism promotion officer with Al Rais Travel and Shipping Agencies, the PR arm in the GCC for Oman's Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Directorate General of Tourism.
