Emirates Airlines is to buy Boeing 777 aircraft after it completes an internal study of its requirements later this year, a report said.
Shaikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, president of Dubai Civil Aviation and Chairman of Emirates said the airline, which already has about 20 aircraft of the 777 model, will need to order more planes over the coming eight years. He said Emirates Airline had underestimated its growth and that more aircraft would be required.
